39th Annual Seattle MLK Jr. Day
Every year the Seattle MLK Jr. Organizing Coalition hosts many activities on the Holiday weekend.
This year the workshops will be held virtually from Tuesday, January 15 through Saturday, January 16. This past year has put issues of white supremacy, racism, anti-racism and police brutality in high relief. Thirteen presentations will reflect these themes.
A virtual youth event will be held on Sunday, January 17 and an in-person march will start at Garfield High on Monday, January 18.
