Hello Garfield Community, on behalf of Principal Howard and the PTSA, we are writing to let you know that due to the recent outbreak/spread of COVID-19 throughout King County, we have decided to switch this year’s auction to be held ONLINE ONLY instead of our in-person event on March 28th at SODO Park.
Many thanks to those of you who have already purchased tickets or sponsorship packages. Because of this unfortunate situation, we ask that you please consider your ticket purchase/sponsorship package as a donation for this year’s auction. If not, we are more than happy to issue you a refund. For those donating their tickets toward our goal of $120,000, we will issue you a receipt reflecting your ticket purchase as a donation to Garfield High School.
We hope to raise as much money as we did last year, and we need everyone’s participation to reach (or exceed) our goal of $120,000 this year. 40% of the school’s budget relies on this annual auction and your contribution.
On March 28th we will be posting a link to the ONLINE AUCTION site where you can bid, donate, and purchase class parties and other exciting items. We have lots of fun items and experiences to bid on, which you and your family will enjoy!
