Donate Desserts, Wine, Auction Items!
The 2019 Garfield HS Community Celebration is coming soon! Each year we rely on donated items to raise funds for our school. Please can you help? Check below to see what we need!
NEW THIS YEAR: You can now donate directly toward the Dessert Dash and Wine Toss via the event website! Just click on the Donate button and make your selection from the drop-down menu, and then sit back and let us do the work for you. It couldn’t be easier!

Dessert Dash
We need your help filling SoDo Park with sweet treats! Please consider donating one or two items for the annual Dessert Dash. Items can be homemade, bought, or procured (and bonus for New Orleans-themed desserts!). We need all types of desserts so whatever your favorite recipes, bring them on!
Desserts can be dropped off at SoDo Park on the day of the event, Saturday, March 30. More details about timing to come!

Wine Donations
Please consider donating BOTTLE(S) OF WINE to the GHS PTSA 2019 Community Celebration. These will be offered at the auction as a wine toss, where bidders get the chance to “ring” a bottle and win it as a prize. All wine values, varietals, viticulture areas welcome. Please drop your donated item off on the front porch of 817 24th Ave (between Columbia and Marion, please enter through Peter Greeley’s front gate) OR visit the event website (https://ghscommunitynight.com/gallery/) to make a donation by selecting “Wine Toss” in the “Donate” button drop-down menu.

Auction & Raffle Items
We need your help with donated items and experiences to be auctioned or raffled off during the Community Celebration. Do you have an inside connection for gift certificates or gadgets or priceless art, or a favorite place you would like to advertise with your donation? Do you love to host a party? We’d love to hear from you! Such donations are critical to the success of our annual event and allow us to meet many of the important needs at Garfield in an exciting and fun way.
Perennially popular items include:
- Gift certificates (restaurant, spa & beauty, theater)
- Hot tech gadgets such as wireless headphones, tablets and smartphones
- Hosted parties such as grade level parties, themed dinner parties or experiences
- Unique items or art
