Families Invited to GHS Veterans Day Assembly — Thursday, Nov. 9

Dear Garfield Community Members,

Garfield High School will be holding our Veterans Day Assembly to honor those who have served in the military within our community. The event will take place on Thursday, Nov. 9 from 9 – 9:50 AM. Our Vision is honor those who have served in the military, both by choice and necessity, and respect, and extend gratitude for their service. We do honor those who have served and we would like to acknowledge that not everyone in our Garfield community has the same views or opinions on militarization, war, and violence.
