Field Trip Ambassador Volunteer

Pacific Science Center welcomes thousands of students on field trips every year. If you are outgoing, energetic, organized, and enjoy working with teachers and school-aged children you can help facilitate their Pacific Science Center experience. As a Field Trip Ambassador you will welcome school groups and help them get a great start to their day at the Science Center by setting a tone of fun and learning. Shifts are available Mondays – Fridays, 9:15 – 11:15 AM.

Childhaven Youth Board

Childhaven, an organization dedicated to providing services to children who have been abused or neglected, is looking for high school students to serve on their youth board.

Their Youth Board gives high school students the opportunity to create meaningful change in their community by supporting the mission of Childhaven, all while gaining leadership experience and fulfilling service-learning requirements for school or extracurricular activities. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Seattle Run 5 K & Walk MS — April 8

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Seattle, is looking for volunteers to help out the Seattle Run 5k and Walk MS event on Sunday, April 8, one of the biggest events in Seattle with over 6000 people participating. They look for enthusiastic youth to help make this event a success.

Groups and individuals of all ages and abilities are encouraged and invited to volunteer.

Muscular Distrophy Association Summer Camp Counselors

MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association) is seeking volunteer counselors at MDA Summer Camp this summer! Help improve the lives of kids in their community who have muscular dystrophy and related diseases that severely limit muscle strength and mobility.

June: WA – YMCA Camp Seymour (near Gig Harbor, WA) 6/23/18 – 6/30/18.

Deadline for volunteer application completion is Friday, April 17.
