Meet Andrew Olson! New 2016 GHS World History Teacher

Mr. Olson is a new World History teacher who graduated from Seattle U. this summer.  He did his student teaching at Washington Middle School so he already knows some students at GHS.  Garfield was his first choice school so he is very happy to be here!

He is originally from the Edmonds area but now lives nearby and enjoys the varied cultures and challenges of the neighborhood.

His advice to students is to have confidence in themselves and not be afraid to try and make mistakes. The best learning comes when you are okay with being wrong as you learn.
