School Board Approves Next Superintendent

Dear families, staff and partners,

At the regular board meeting tonight, the school board voted to approve the contract for Denise Juneau to become the next superintendent. Her start date will be July 1.

Dr. Nyland and Ms. Juneau will work together to ensure a smooth transition. We are excited to welcome Ms. Juneau to Seattle and to continue to build upon the great work taking place across the district.
