Tech + Nonprofit Internship Opportunity

MEANS Database, a food recovery nonprofit that utilizes tech, has launched an Ambassadors Internship Program and is currently accepting applications for a fully remote Spring internship. This opportunity is open to both high school and college students and requires a commitment of ten hours a week with a stipend of $1000. Ambassadors will experience all aspects of MEANS Database while focusing and being mentored in one of five areas – Web Development, Social Media and Marketing, Grant Writing, Public Policy, and Outreach.

Ambassadors will

  • gain insight into the ins and outs of nonprofit sector work,
  • learn about the history of food policy and hunger in America, 
  • attend webinars on personal and professional development and networking,
  • be trained on how to use many forms of software including Slack, Google Teams, and WordPress.
