Tutoring Program for Immigrant or Refugee Youth

Your student can be a positive influence in the lives of immigrant or refugee youth this summer! Youth Tutoring Program (YTP) Summer Learning Program serves at-risk students in 1st-8th grade who live in five low-income housing developments around Seattle.

Each center has a slightly different structure for their summer program, but most have two 1.5-hour sessions each afternoon, Monday through Thursday (approximately 3 – 4:30 PM and 4:30 – 6 PM). Volunteers commit to a minimum of one session per week. The program runs July 9-August 17. Their students come from diverse backgrounds—representing many nationalities, cultures, languages and religions. No tutoring experience necessary.  To learn more and sign up, click HERE,  contact volunteerytp@ccsww.org, or call (206) 328-5659.
