Communicating With GHS Counselors During the School Closure
I hope this message finds you well, and that you are staying healthy and safe during this time of so much uncertainty and Covid-19. As you know schools are closed until at least April 24th, and effective 3/25/20 Washington State is under “a stay at home, stay safe” directive by Governor Inslee.
The counselors will be using Schoology to post messages and to give you information as it becomes available to us. Please check Schoology regularly for updates from the Counseling office. Your teachers might also use Schoology to contact you about an assignment plan for their class.
You can contact your counselor via email as well, but just know that we are checking our emails on a limited basis during the closure, so response times may be longer than usual. However, it is important to note that Schoology also has a messaging feature as well, so sending a separate email is not necessary, but it is available if you want this option.
