2019-20 High School Boundary and Highly Capable Update (1/23/18)

In 2019-20, new high school boundaries will be implemented with the opening of Lincoln High School in North Seattle. Ingraham High School also will have a significant capacity increase due to a building expansion.

At the Jan. 17, School Board meeting, the School Board discussed the 2019-20 High School Growth Boundaries Plan and reviewed the Fv4.3 draft boundary map. Additionally, Directors Mack and Burke introduced an amendment on high school boundary changes and highly capable pathways.

The board is scheduled to take action on the new high school boundaries and any changes to the high school highly capable pathways at the Jan. 31 school board meeting.
