2 GHS seniors are Amazon Future Engineer Scholars

Two Garfield seniors have been selected as 2025 Amazon Future Engineer Scholars, placing them among just 400 students nationwide receiving this prestigious award.

Each recipient will receive $40,000 over four years to pursue degrees in computer science or engineering. Amazon will  also offer the Scholars paid internships after their freshman year of college, enabling them to gain hands-on, practical work experience with mentorship from Amazon leaders.
