5th Avenue Theatre Rising Star Quarantine Musicals – Apply Now!

Since 2011, Rising Star Project has opened the doors of The 5th Avenue Theatre to teenagers throughout Washington State. This season, Rising Star Project offers students (age 14-19) the chance to develop professional skills through the process of creating and developing original 10-minute musicals. A student team of young directors, stage managers, and performers will present the original work of their peers at The 5th Avenue and in select venues throughout the community. All participants will be trained and mentored by dedicated theater professionals at The 5th Avenue Theatre.

Rising Star Project is an educational program offered tuition-free to Washington State students.

They will be hosting an online Zoom session at 4 PM, Friday, September 18, to walk through this season’s program and answer your questions about the application process, auditions, Rising Star Project in general, or anything in between!
