Fall UW Multicultural Outreach & Recruitment (MOR) Events

The UW Department of Multicultural Outreach & Recruitment (MOR) is hosting a variety of virtual fall recruitment events.

iDUB Application Workshop

iDUB Application Workshop is for underrepresented minority high school seniors (Class of 2021) in Washington who are interested in attending the University of Washington in Seattle for the 2021 Autumn Quarter. The program focuses its resources on serving the following underrepresented minority groups: African American/Black, American Indian/Alaska Native, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, and Southeast Asian.\

Participants will receive support with filling out the Coalition Application – the UW application platform. This workshop is designed for you to stop in during the workshop times to receive the support you need. You may stay the entire time working on your application or you can come as long as you need the help to fill out your application.

Note: Participation is open to all students regardless of race/ethnic background.

Upcoming workshops are on Friday, November 6th and Friday, November 13th, from 3 – 5:30 PM.

MOR Mondays

MOR Mondays are weekly virtual drop-in office hours for underrepresented minority high school seniors (Class of 2021) in Washington who are interested in attending the University of Washington in Seattle. The program focuses its resources on serving the following underrepresented minority groups: African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (Melanesian, Micronesian, Polynesian, etc.) and Southeast Asian (Vietnamese, Lao, Khmer, Hmong, Mien, Burmese, etc.).

Representatives will be available to chat with you about the personal statement, Coalition application, and other questions you have about applying to the University of Washington in Seattle. Office hours will be held on a drop-in basis, so students are welcome to come and go as they please. You are welcome to come anytime between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Note: Registration and participation is open to all students regardless of race/ethnic background.

Student Ambassador Q&As

Student Ambassador Q&As are student panels where you will be able to ask current UW students about what it’s like to be a Husky. These are interactive sessions, so come ready to ask questions!
