Garfield Stage Present’s Disney’s The Little Mermaid – June 2 – 5
Disney’s The Little Mermaid is based on the classic story by Hans Christian Andersen and Disney’s animated film, The Little Mermaid. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner, Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, and book by Doug Wright, it’s an enchanting fairly tale filled with familiar songs including “Under the Sea,” “Kiss the Girl” and “Part of Your World.”Ariel, King Triton’s youngest daughter, bargains with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to trade her tail for legs so she can follow Prince Eric to the world above. But the bargain is not what it seems, and Ariel needs the help of all her friends under the sea to put things right again. Beloved on Broadway and fun for the whole family!
