Launch 206 – Summer Internship Opportunity

LAUNCH-206 is a collaborative internship program that supports local industries with meaningful worksite learning experiences for high school students aligning with their High School and Beyond Plan. Through this experience, each student intern will gain insight into various career pathway opportunities in the industry. In addition, they will acquire exposure to technical skills and expertise needed to be successful in their career field of interest. Internships will run Monday through Thursday from July 6th to July 31st, 2021. Fridays will be used for peer discussions, group projects, and problem solving.

This is a 90 hour internship experience, where students will earn a 0.5 CTE credit + $1,000 stipend for their participation and completion. Partnering companies (to date, more applying every day): SIXR, Boatsetter, The Center for Wooden Boats, CETS LLC, FORMA Construction Company, SPS Capital Projects
