Those are expected to be considered in the coming months, include stationing of a police officer on Garfield’s campus, and additional mental health counselors and other student services not provided by the School District’s own funding. The Mayor’s Office and Council Members are inviting comments. (The levy proposal is expected to be finalized in June, and then go before the voters as part of the November 2025 election.)
