Meet Ed Haskins! GHS’s Boys Basketball Coach

Coach Haskins has been GHS’s Head Boys Basketball Coach since 2008 and our Athletic Director since 2012. Before that he coached at South Shore (now Aki Kurose) Middle School and Rainier Beach HS where he helped guide their program to seven Metro League championships and three state championships in 2002, 2003, and 2008.

With the Bulldogs, Coach Haskins has led the team to six 4A King Co. league championships, one Metro League championship, a SeaKing District 2 Championship, seven state tournament appearances, and two state championships in 2014 and 2015!

He graduated from Clover Park High School where he participated in basketball, football, and track. He obtained his Associate of Arts degree from Seattle Central Community College, Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington Univ. and his WA State Teaching Certification in Special Education from Central Washington Univ. He has won many coaching honors.
