Students Shine in Business Competition
Twenty Garfield students recently competed in the 2024 Washington DECA Area Career Development Conference (ACDC) for this part of the state. Washington DECA has a mission to prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.
Several will advance to the State Career Development Conference in March. Eleven received awards in the following categories (Washington DECA Area 2):
