‘Tis The Season For Caring-Compassion-Community

As the holiday season approaches, we recognize that the Covid-19 pandemic is still felt by those most vulnerable in our Garfield community. These members of our community have been hardest hit by the loss of jobs and income, exacerbating existing hardships, and making the ability to meet basic needs more difficult.
Garfield PTSA invites you to support and make this winter season a bit brighter for students and families in need. Any donations, large or small, are greatly appreciated.
You can give in 2 ways:
  • Gift Cards in any amount
  • Checks made out to GHS PTSA with a memo of Holiday Giving
Please drop off your gifts in the main office or mail them to:
Garfield High School
Attn: GHS PTSA Holiday Giving
400 23rd Ave.
Seattle WA 98122
Please send gifts by Wednesday December 15th for timely distribution before the break. Gifts received after this date will be distributed in January when school resumes.
Suggestions for gift cards include places students can easily access, such as online gift cards (Amazon, Target, Walmart etc.) or cash cards (Visa pre-paid cards), and grocery stores for larger families who might need help with holiday food shopping (Safeway/QFC/Fred Meyer/Walmart etc.)
These gifts are distributed through the Counseling Office, TRIO programs and by the Garfield Teen Health Center staff.
Thank you on behalf of the Garfield PTSA!
