Open Enrollment Deadline Extension — Friday, Feb. 22

Dear families,

Due to the winter weather, Open Enrollment for School Choice has been extended until Friday, Feb. 22, 2019.

Open Enrollment is the annual period where students may apply to attend a different school or program next year to receive the applicable tiebreakers. Open Enrollment results for the 2019-20 school year will be available online and families will receive a letter with their new assignment in mid-April.

As a reminder, two new schools will open in the 2019-20 school year and some school assignments have changed. Lincoln High School will open in the Wallingford neighborhood, and Magnolia Elementary will open in the Magnolia neighborhood. You may view your student’s school assignment in the Assignment Lookup Tool, you will need the student’s identification number and birth date. You can find your child’s student ID by calling the Admissions office at 206-252-0760 or by logging in to your account on The Source: https://ps.seattleschools.org.

For families who have participated in Open Enrollment for School Choice, their assignment will be updated in mid-April.
