|Date and Time||
|Location||Garfield High School, Commons|
|Description||Beginning with the current freshman class (Class of 2021), all Seattle Public Schools high school students will see increased credit and assessment requirements with the change in state law requiring 24 credits to graduate. Both the science assessment and increase in credit requirements are aspects of the Washington state science standards adopted in 2013.
The science department, including school staff, will host four regional community meetings for families to come learn more about the new requirements, the new sequence of courses, and options for students.
