African American Male Student Leadership Council Applications Open

Applications are now open for the new African American Male Student Leadership Council. Participating students will receive a stipend for participation and have the opportunity to earn service learning hours.

The Student Leadership Council will be formed of student representatives who are African American males in 7th – 12th grade and currently enrolled in a Seattle Public Schools K-8, middle, or high school.

The Student Leadership Council will promote a network of student leaders who support each other at their schools and across the district while also providing guidance to district leadership on priority initiatives of the Department of African American Male Achievement.

Applications are due Friday, December 20, 2019, by 11 p.m. Read more about the council requirements and how to apply:
