Apply for High School Girls in Science at the Burke Museum

Designed for students in grades 9–12, the High School Girls in Science Program is a FREE program through the Burke Museum. Gain confidence and hands-on experience through work with distinguished UW scientist mentors.

Each quarter takes an in-depth look into a Burke collection through behind the scenes tours, studies of anatomical features, morphological comparisons, and scientific illustration, followed by a science-fair style celebration of participant’s work.

Applications for the fall 2019 session on Paleobotany (ancient plants) are due by October 4.
