Be our guest at Ballard High School’s musical Beauty and the Beast

In March the Ballard High School Playmakers will return to live, in-person performances with the Disney classic musical Beauty and the Beast—their first live musical theatre in two years!

Based on Broadway’s modern classic, Beauty and the Beast is the story of a young prince who is transformed into a Beast, and a young woman named Belle whom he imprisons in his castle. To become a prince again, the Beast must learn to love Belle and win her love before his 21st birthday.

The cast features 36 BHS students, and the musical is directed by Shawn Riley.
