Description | Seattle Public Schools is taking part in the DiscoverU campaign the week of October 23-27, 2017.
DiscoverU is a week devoted to college and career exploration in our schools. October 25 will be the college gear day. SPS is asking teachers and staff to wear their college gear, share their college and career paths with students and lead fun college and career exploration activities. |
Meet in Auditorium for a brief presentation, then visit classrooms according to your student’s schedule.

- Scholarship Info Session
- College Prep Workshops for 9th-11th Grade Students

Tickets are available on a sliding scale basis, with three price options. If the ticket cost is prohibitive, please contact Grad Night chair Theo Cielos at garfieldgn2021@gmail.com for scholarship info. If cost is not an issue we encourage those who can to help support others with a donation.
Following the commencement ceremony on Tuesday, June 15th, students and chaperones will meet back at Garfield (note this change from previous years) to board charter buses to a mystery party venue. Buses will return to Garfield at 3 AM the morning after graduation.
(Rescheduled from 6/7.) Garfield community members are welcome at all Garfield PTSA Board meetings but are especially encouraged to attend General Meetings. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 2021-22 meetings will be held virtually.
