The Homecoming Dance will be held at China Harbor on Fri Oct 18, 8:30 – 11:30 PM. Dinner is included. Tickets go on sale Wed Oct 9. Cost is $10 with ASB, $12 without.

The Garfield PTSA invites all community members to a General Meeting on Tuesday, Oct 29th, beginning at 5:30 PM in the GHS Commons. Guest JoLynn Berge, Chief Financial Officer of Seattle Public Schools, will address families’ concerns about Garfield’s enrollment projections and budget. Please note that this meeting will take the place of the previously scheduled PTSA General Meeting on Tuesday, Nov 12th. Everyone is encouraged to attend. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. Please join!

Friday, November 1st, is the deadline for students to register and pay for AP Exams administered in May. Note that this is a new, earlier deadline than previous years.

Join us for our 9th annual UNCF College and Career Fair. High school students will have the opportunity to meet with recruiters from Historically Black Colleges/Universities (HBCUs) and a variety of other local college and educational institutions in attendance. Hear community members speak on our STEAM, HBCU Alumni, and Career speaker panels. Come meet with local corporate companies about possible career opportunities.
Bring your school transcript, SAT/ACT test scores, and resumes! This event is free to students.
