The Garfield Symphony Orchestra presents their annual Senior Concerto Concert this Thursday, May 25, 7:00pm at Seattle First Baptist Church (1111 Harvard Ave). The concert will feature five senior soloists: Olivia Fann, Kelly Ma, Sophia O’Mahony, Sophia Ruiz-Murphy, and Gus Shuman. The concert is free of charge and there will be a dessert reception to follow.
All students in Grade 11 are expected to take the Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science (WCAS).
- Garfield HS will administer the WCAS May 30-June 2 in science classes.
Garfield will conduct online classes on Friday, June 2, with a 2-hour delayed start. See school website for further information. No on-campus activities will occur this day or on June 3-4.

Community Safety Meeting to identify implementable solutions/strategies to address safety concerns on campus after school hours. This meeting, hosted by the school, is open only to students, family members and staff.
Join the Garfield Jazz Program for an evening of music as Jazz Ensembles 2 & 1 perform a collection of new and favorites from the 2022-23 school year! Washington Middle School Jazz Band will kick off the event at 6:30 PM, with Garfield taking the stage at 7 PM.
