School resumes on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026.

Jan 9th 2026 will be the “Second” Friday Breakfast for Garfield Teachers & Staff!
With winter break upon us, we are getting a head start and asking families to donate breakfast foods, baked goods or fruit!
Please take a look to see what’s needed and delivery details: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C094CACA823ABFF2-61298415-2026
If you can’t deliver on 1/9 Friday morning, there is a Thursday drop off option too.
The monthly tradition of “First Friday Breakfast” is a much-anticipated event! It’s an opportunity for Teachers & Staff to come together and connect over food and coffee in the relaxed setting of room 302, Ms. West’s art room.
In the fall of 2023, Ms. Kircher and Ms. Gress along with the GHS Sunshine Committee wanted to bring First Friday Breakfast for GHS Teachers & Staff back after a covid hiatus. They asked the PTSA to help make sure there was enough food for the first breakfast…GHS families delivered! The spread of food was huge, and conversations were lively and restorative…all the teachers and staff headed into their workday with full bellies and happy hearts. It was huge a success and such an easy way to support our hard-working Teachers & Staff, that the PTSA, with the generous and consistent support of the GHS family community, hosts GHS Teacher & Staff for FFB every month!
