June 10-12

  • Pick up Graduation Cords & Medals
    • Purple & White Cord for 3.25-3.49 GPAs
    • Gold Cord for 3.5-4.0 GPAs
    • Gold Cord & Medal for Valedictorians for 4.0 GPA

  • Purple & White Week (special bell schedules)

  • Senior Check-Out
    • Counselors will email details to students

  • Senior Breakfast
    • Rescheduled from June 13
    • Other special events have been rescheduled to this day, which will end with an Assembly. Students and families received an email with details.

June 15

  • CANCELED: GHS Graduation for Seniors observing Eid al-Adha
    • 5/17 update: Students provided feedback to GHS that they will be able to observe the June 17 holiday in the morning and be able to attend Graduation that evening.

June 17

  • Grad Night Party
    • Safe/sober all-night event including secret venues, dance party, games, food (including breakfast), gift … for Class of 2024 only
    • Sponsored by PTSA, with adult chaperones
    • See details and buy tickets – ALL seniors are invited, with prices based on ability to pay

September 2024

  • Diploma pickup at Garfield
    • Dates/details TBA; in the past diplomas have been available only for in-person pickup by graduate or family member with proof of identity
