Students Return to Classes amid Schedule Changes
Event plans have been altered for the remaining 2 weeks of school and schedule changes include a split lunch that requires students to remain in the Garfield buildings and campus.
Students will be excused from on-site participation in classes if they follow a process that was described in a comprehensive “Return to School” June 10 email sent to families by Principal Hart. Additional supports are available to students in the wake of the murder of Amarr Murphy-Paine on June 6.

Note that Purple & White Week events have been altered, including cancellation of the Friday Parade. The PTSA website’s calendar will be updated in as timely a way as possible. Update: The revised schedule of Friday events has been sent to students and families via email.
Graduation will be held as planned. Seattle Public Schools is expected to announce that all SPS graduations will be available via livestream. The Grad Night party will continue as scheduled.
