Comments Sought on Section 504
The Office for Civil Rights in the U.S. Department of Education intends to update Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and is accepting comments. The Washington State Governor’s Office of the Education Ombuds and Seattle Council PTSA will be holding virtual drop-in hours to hear from you on changes you feel are necessary for improving access in K-12 education for disabled students. We will use your feedback to inform the comments that our organizations submit. Two out of the five drop-in times are designated for youth and young adults up to age 25. Youth and young adults are welcome to all sessions.
