CORRECTION! Error in Military Recruitment Opt-Out Advisory Form

PLEASE NOTE! The Military Recruitment Opt-Out Advisory Form which appeared in PTSA First Day Packets contains an error.

The form stated that a NCLB (No Child Left Behind) form was required by the school district to opt-out of military recruitment. This is no longer true. Now the FERPA (NOTIFICATION OF RIGHTS UNDER THE FAMILY EDUCATIONAL RIGHTS AND PRIVACY ACT and OPT-OUT FORM) is all that is required. Remember to sign page 2 of the form and check box C to withhold contact/directory information from military recruiters.
