Experimental Selfies – Virtual Exhibit

 The National Nordic Museum has partnered with four Seattle high schools, including Garfield, in a virtual exhibition that asks AP Photography students to respond to Edvard Munch’s self-portrait photography work with their own self-portraits. Students took a virtual tour of The Experimental Self: Edvard Munch’s Photography, on view at the Museum through January, with curator Pat Berman. Then, as part of their advanced placement studies, they created portraits that responded to Munch’s process and self exploration.
