Garfield Jazz Band Selected as Essentially Ellington National Competition Finalist!

Garfield Jazz was one of 15 bands selected as a finalist from over 100 high schools across the nation in the prestigious Essentially Ellington competition, which will be held in New York at Lincoln Center in May. Essentially Ellington is the premiere high school jazz competition in the nation. Kudos to Mr Acox and the students, and congrats to the other Seattle schools who will be joining Garfield – Roosevelt and Mt Si!
