Learn about GHS at Info Session & Tour Dec. 3
Garfield is offering an Info Session and Tour on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, for new students and families considering the school for 2025-26.
The event, 6-8 pm in the Garfield Commons (red brick main building, 400 23rd Ave.) will provide an opportunity to learn more about the school, meet current students, parents, teachers and other staff, and tour the buildings.
Know before you go:
- RSVP and your advance questions are requested (but not required).
- Parking: If you drive, leave extra time to find a spot. The small lot and driveways facing 23rd Avenue fill up early, so consider street spaces on 25th Avenue adjacent to the football field, and on East Alder Street, just south of the main (red brick) building.
- Snacks and casual time: From 6-6:30, we’ll have refreshments with opportunity to chat with current Garfield staff, students and parents/caregivers.
- Presentations: Principal Tarance Hart and others will talk about the school at 6:30 pm.
- Tour: After presentations, see where it all happens! We should finish at about 8 pm.
