Grade 9 & new student orientation Aug. 20

Garfield will hold 2025 Freshman and New Student Orientation 6-8 pm Wednesday, Aug. 20. This evening is designed to help students and families feel more confident and connected before the first day of school on Sept 3.

Students and families will have the chance to:

• Meet Garfield’s administrative team and key support staff.
• Learn about academic programs, student services, and extracurricular opportunities.
• Tour the building with current students serving as guides.

Whether you’re joining Garfield from a feeder middle school or transferring in from elsewhere, this event is a great way to get to know the school community.

The school plans to share more details in early August.
