The Building Leadership Team uses PTSA funding to award “Small Grants.”
These grants are wide-ranging in type and size, between $200 and $2,500 (with occasional larger amounts). Applications are reviewed 3-4 times per year. Details on how teachers, staff and student club members can apply are on the Small Grants page.

- Curriculum supplies for math, language arts, special education, and world languages

- Guest speaker and teaching artist fees
|
- Landscape design and re-planting effort for the Garfield Courtyard Restoration

- Art supplies to implement a new hallway mural
|
- Microphones providing real-time subtitles and translation in classrooms for students learning the English language
|
- All-day workshops centered on using poetry and writing as tools of advocacy
|
- DeltaMath online curriculum to help students catch up from pandemic learning loss, and challenge students who have mastered content.
