Welcome Lisa Fitzhugh and Barbara Rockey as the Garfield Community PTSA co-chairs for 2017-18!

Lisa and Barbara have sons who came from TOPS K-8 and are incoming 10th graders at Garfield.

Her main focus is developing trust, safety and inclusion in work places through intentional leadership and more emotional intelligence skills.

Barbara is originally from Chicago, and has lived in Seattle for 12 years. She works in Education Advocacy, which is a passion of hers. Her experience in education spans 15 years with a a pit stop as a assistant news producer for NPR’s news bureau in Chicago.

They are excited to join the Garfield PTSA community and look forward to learning from and working with us all! You may contact them at president@garfieldptsa.org.
