On-the-spot college admissions at GHS
Several colleges are coming to meet with Class of ’25 seniors at Garfield and offer on-the-spot admissions decisions.
- Thurs., Feb. 13: Washington State U. 1 pm, Library glass lab
- Interested students must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Must preregister at this link
- Tues., March 4: Central State U. (HBCU in Ohio). 1:30 pm, Library glass lab.
- Date TBA: Central Washington U.
- Date TBA: Delaware State U. (HBCU)
Previously:
- Mon., Jan. 13: Portland State U.
- Fri., Jan. 17: Fort Valley State U.
How it works (may vary slightly by college)
Students must register, show up with transcript, and sit for a short interview with an admissions rep. The rep then provides an immediate decision on acceptance. No application fees, no waiting.
