Parent University at the Bush School

The Bush School is excited to announce a modified format for Parent University, their annual parent education event typically held each spring. This year, instead of a full day conference on the Bush campus, Parent University will be offered quarterly as a virtual parent education series. Each event will feature a relevant topic about raising our children, including citizenship, how to raise anti-racist children, mindfulness, and digital safety in the era of remote schooling. All sessions are free to both Bush parents/guardians and the greater Seattle parent community. Due to online platform capacity, advance registration is required, but there will be no cost associated with your ticket.

Parenting and Civic Responsibility: What It Takes To Raise The Next Generation Of Civic Catalysts with Eric Liu

The first virtual Parent University session on Wednesday, November 4 at 5:30 p.m. features Eric Liu, author of Become America: Civic Sermons on Love, Responsibility and Democracy, and the CEO of Citizen University. Eric will host an empowering discussion and Q&A focused on the ways we can raise our children to embrace the spirit of citizenship, restore faith in democracy, and celebrate our differences and the values we share as American citizens.
