POST 84 – Intro to Camping

Since founded by a Garfield science teacher in 1984, POST 84 has provided over 8,000 Garfield students with outdoor educational experiences in the greater Seattle area, offering trips ranging from rock climbing to snow camping.  POST 84 has evolved into a student-led outdoor education program with a student leadership structure that is innovative and inspiring to its participants.  All trips are entirely planned and run by student staff, with a number of adult chaperones who supervise the activities.  Check it out!  Their Intro to Camping trip is coming up, September 20th-22nd with forms due Friday, September 13th.
