SPS Black Studies Class – Enrollment Open for Second Semester
SPS is offering a city-wide, virtual Black Studies US History A & B class. The course meets 11th grade graduation requirements and was created as a direct response to student demands for relevant, meaningful education.
This is a yearlong course being offered virtually Monday – Friday both before school (7:30-8:20 a.m.) and after school (4-4:50 p.m.) to all SPS students in grades 9-12. Enrollment is now open for second semester. The class is strongly recommended for Black and brown students, but all students are invited to join.
