Bulldog Spirit at First Bark’n’Bites Event

Thank you to all who attended the PTSA’s first Bark’n’Bites Parent/Caregiver/Alumni gathering on Saturday, Jan. 20.

We had a great turnout. People enjoyed baked treats and refreshments, as well as the surprisingly party-friendly environment of the first floor lobby of the Garfield Gym. Some highlights included:

Inspiring performances by the GHS Athletic Band, Bulldog Drumline and GHS Cheerleaders.
Victories by the Varsity basketball teams, including a payback win by the girls over Lakeside, which is the only Metro League opponent to beat Garfield this season.
Guest appearance by Henry Brashen, President of the Garfield Golden Grads. GGG is open to membership by grads of *any* class year. (In fact, any type of Garfield supporter can join.) Learn more or sign up now!
Purple-and-white frosting on those delicious home-made cupcakes.
