Students in Grade 12 with 504 plan or IEP: The College Board (creator of the SAT) requires requests for accommodations on the Oct. 11, 2023, SAT to be filed by this day (Aug. 22, 2023).
- Oct. 11 is when seniors at Garfield take the free, in-school administration of this college entrance exam.

Workshops and panels for students and adults, giveaways, food trucks, music and performances! Wear your favorite pair of sneakers! All are welcome. Free! Registration requested.

Free SAT college entrance exam for all seniors* during school day. (Rest of school: normal classes and bell schedule, although some classroom locations may differ.) More info about SAT and PSAT.
- Bring: approved calculator, #2 pencils, student ID or government ID, clear plastic water bottle (must be left at the back of the classroom)
- Don’t bring: computers, electronic devices, etc. Cell phones must be off and put away during test.
- * Seniors with 504 plan or IEP who registered with the College Board for accommodations will take the SAT on Oct. 26. More info.
Note: Garfield will provide a free digital in-school PSAT exam for juniors on Oct. 26.
