Career Event: Jobs for Clean Water — Tuesday, March 26

Is your student interested in a career or job that helps public health and the environment? There are a variety of jobs, from engineers to electricians, that are needed to keep our water clean. Join us to explore career opportunities. Participants will work in small groups with King County staff, learning about their career field and doing a hands-on project related to their work.

Examples of careers represented :

  • Engineer (civil, mechanical, environmental)
  • Environmental scientist
  • Wastewater flow controller
  • Industrial mechanic
  • Community relations
  • Project manager
  • Environmental educator

Participating in this event is one way to find out more about opportunities for paid summer internships for high school students.
