Announcing Garfield Girls Lacrosse Club

We will be starting up Captain’s Practices​ at Garfield’s turf field​ this week. Come ​check out our program and see what it’s all about! On Wednesday, Jan. 3 and Friday, Jan. 5 Captain’s Practices will begin ​after school. They will continue at Garfield 2-3 times/week through late February.

​If you have lacrosse gear, please bring ​your stick, eye gear and mouth guard to practice. These ​will be required for ​any ​stick drills. The club will have loaner gear available for you, except for mouth guards. Please let the captains know what you need. No previous lacrosse experience is required. Scholarship options. The club’s official season runs from Feb. 26 – mid May, 2018. Practices will take place mostly at Montlake and Genesee Fields., Monday-Friday around 5 – 7 PM.

There will be an information meeting Monday, Jan. 8 from 6:30 – 8 PM at the Douglass Truth Library, 2300 E. Yesler Way (just south of GHS).
