Garfield Debate Wins State!

The Garfield Debate Team competed at the state tournament March 22-23 and took home top honors! Debaters compete in pairs. Rhys L. and Don D. won first place overall, and Kaila F. and Ben T. qualified to the quarterfinals. Don and Rhys also won first and second place speaker awards.

The Garfield coaches received the Washington State Coach of the Year award as well.
