Garfield Students, Keep Your Current ORCA Card!

Starting September 1, 2022, students’ current ORCA card will become their NEW Free Youth Transit Pass! Students will be able to ride King County Metro, Sound Transit’s Link light rail system, and many other regional transit services for free.

Students should keep their current ORCA card and use it for the 2022-23 school year. Student ORCA cards will continue working through 2022-23, even if there is an expiration date printed on the back. If you lose your card or it gets damaged, email your replacement request to: TransORCA@seattleschools.org.
