Grad Night Chaperones Needed

The PTSA is looking for chaperones to join us for the upcoming GHS Grad Night event taking place on Friday, June 14 (so you’ll have the weekend to recover!).
Traditionally our volunteers have been Junior parents, who “pay it forward” for the parents who will be chaperoning the following year. However anyone can volunteer, and all help is appreciated.

The qualifications are simple: we need responsible adults who can help keep a watchful eye on students and make sure seniors enjoy their last night as GHS students! The most important qualification is the ability to stay awake and keep a positive, upbeat attitude!

The more chaperones we have to help out, the faster and smoother activities run, which means seniors have more fun. This is a really great event, I’ve chaperoned several times and it’s a ton of fun. We provide transportation, food, and plenty of coffee! We’d prefer chaperones who can commit to the entire event (9:30 PM – 5:30 AM). If you want to help but are unable to commit to the entire night, we are happy to arrange for a partial early, or late shift. We also need help loading buses after graduation, which is a commitment of about 1.5 hours.

If you have any questions, would like further details, or are interested in helping out please email me at the address below.
